Accu-Drive™ Shaking Mechanism: Precision, Versatility, and Advanced Control for Laboratory Applications
Exceptional speed control, accuracy, and longevity are provided by the unique Accu-DriveTM shaking mechanism, one of the system’s distinctive operational features.
shakers have touchpad controls that allow the user to examine both settings at once. The controls have easy-to-read, individual LED displays for time and speed. consistently produces precise and reproducible results, and it is clearly visible from all lab benches. When programmed to a user-defined limit, the timer will either display the amount of time that has passed or turn off when the timer reaches zero. Even when the power is off, the display will still display the last settings that were utilized. Two-way communication for unit control and data logging is made possible by the RS-232 interface. The user can automatically recalibrate the speed display by using the speed calibration mode. The system will sound an alert and provide a visual when it senses an impediment.
A multitude of stainless steel platform configurations are compatible with shakers. Tier braces come in stainless steel, enable platforms of the same size to be stacked, and give platforms a 25.4 cm (10″) gap between them. Four movable, cushioned rollers on adjustable platforms are designed to securely grip most glassware. Racks for test tubes and flask clamps can be mounted on universal platforms. For slow speed applications using low profile vessels like Petri dishes or culture flasks, the culture platforms with mat are perfect. Three 500 mL to 2 L samples can be held simultaneously on the separatory funnel platform. PVC flask clamps are pre-mounted on dedicated platforms to maximize available space. There are two types of flask clamps: PVC and stainless steel. Microplate clamps and media bottle clamps are made
