VWR® Standard Line Sterile Centrifuge Tubes with Flat or Plug Caps, PP

These disposable conical-bottom and freestanding tubes are crafted from premium USP Class 6 gamma-resistant polypropylene.

• Available in two sizes: 15 ml and 50 ml
• Bottom styles: Conical and self-standing options
• Leak-proof design: Longer screw caps with sealing rings to prevent leakage
• Clear graduations: Black, easy-to-read graduations with ±2% accuracy; 1 ml increments for 15 ml tubes, 2.5 ml for 50 ml tubes
• Convenient writing area: Large, frosted white, and unerasable for durable labeling
• Resistant to chemicals: Both graduations and writing areas withstand chloroform exposure
• Enhanced usability: Engraved graduation marks at the conical bottom and leak-proof construction
• Optimal handling: Plastic racks recommended for freezing; appropriate rotor adapters advised for high-speed centrifugation

These tubes also feature black-printed graduations and smooth inner walls for easy filling and sample preparation. They are certified RNase-free, DNase-free, and non-pyrogenic.

Cap styles:

• Flat caps: Smooth surface for additional labeling options
• Plug caps: Secure sealing, ideal for shakers and horizontal incubators Both cap styles are made of white high-density polyethylene.
• Autoclavable: Tubes and caps can be autoclaved at 121°C and frozen at –80°C.
• Max rotation speeds: 12,500×g for conical bottom tubes, 10,000×g for self-standing tubes.

Ordering Information: Tubes are shipped with attached caps and sterilized via irradiation. Plastic racks are available in seven colors, with an assorted color pack option (blue, green, orange, red, yellow). Racks support both plug and flat bottom tubes. For items 75845-202, 75845-204, and 75845-206, caps and tubes are packed separately.

Packaging Options:

• Racked tubes: Packaged in fully recyclable chipboard or plastic racks.
• Bagged tubes: Packaged in re-sealable, durable zip bags. Each package is individually labeled for lot-to-lot traceability.
