The tubes can be used in temperatures ranging
an between –86 and 110 °C (–122 and 230 °F) and are excellent for preserving boiling and low-temperature samples. The tubes have a diameter of 16 mm, which is identical to standard 15 ml tubes. This ensures compatibility with existing centrifugal rotors. The tubes can support up to 25000 ×g.
